Criminal thrilling: Welcoming the new year @sofatutor
To welcome the new year, the sofatutor team came together and showed that we are ready to meet new challenges. Whether unexpected, difficult or even scary – we will master them together with fun and commitment, as shown in our New Year’s crime dinner last week!
On February 16th, we met for this year’s first big team event. In the European afternoon and the US dawn, again digitally.
First, Rita, our Head of People and Culture, warmly welcomed us.
Attention event insiders: Never have I ever been compared to a Formula 1 racing car ;-)
Everyone who took part in the event, please drink now!
After Stephan looked back with us at the start of sofatutor and marked out our fast-paced ride last year with important pit stops on the track, we got to know each other better, in small groups of eight to ten, playing Never Have I Ever.
The following few hours our homes turned into detective agencies. Divided into smaller teams again, we pursued the question: Who killed the old wealthy Friedrich Hegenbach?
Our grey matter got challenged by creative puzzles from the ‘Online Krimi Spiel company’, and our team spirit was strengthened by wine and snacks sent from Friedrichshain.
After a small but delicious casserole dinner, one or the other team found the riddle’s solution more or less quickly. Some had the advantage of crime experts among the team members. Others may have had little helpers who provided investigative support behind the screen :)
But we certainly all had one helper: Special thanks to our event team and office management, who provided entertainment and culinary delights this evening and brought together more than 150 sofatutor colleagues from all over the world!
