Hello and welcome to this episode about the English grammar. Today, we're going to revise and improve your knowledge about participles in English. Both the present and the past participles. Heute üben wir alles zum Thema das Partizip Präsens und Perfekt. Dies ist ein Übungsvideo und deshalb empfehle ich dir erst mal die beiden Lernvideos zu diesem Thema zu schauen. Let's briefly start with the present participle. Do you want to go jogging tomorrow? The word jogging is present participle. Or look at this phrase: Well, strictly speaking, he's not her real boyfriend. Speaking is a present participle. So, what does a past participle look like then? For example: the stolen car, stolen is past participle. Or: he had his hair cut, cut is past participle. As you seen the present participle has the "ing"-ending, as in jogging and speaking. Were is the past participle is the third form of a verb, like stolen or cut. Choose the correct word in the following sentences. Your Choice will always be beetwen a present or a past participle.
